Tuomo Rainio has built his own instruments himself. Reasons for that have been practical, but the end result also showcases the strangeness and instability of his various devices. Performing with "musical
instruments" is an attempt to bring visible the process of producing an image. A performance based on video projection and computer-directed processing of sound and images seeks to find a border between the realisation of a certain image and the possibility of all images.

"In a performance, images are born and images vanish. Constant change varies from silent diminishing to images that disappear like a flash. Abstractions drawn by light alternate with found image material - the
possibility for narration is present, but the story told does not seem to have an end or a beginning. General uncertainity dominates the scene, which is followed by a jump into undefined coordinates."
