"I am a visual artist, working mainly with video, photography & installation. In my practise I am often drawing from the tradition of the performance. In recent years the visual frame for my work, both lens-based and in live performance, has been the concept of the painterly. Other key issue that occurs in my practise is the relation between the text and the visual. I am always performing myself in my pieces so my own memories, autobiography and my body becames an important part of the composition, adding the critical humour into it as well. I am based in Helsinki and London."
