"A miner once told me how there's always need for people who can talk and write. Just to be on the safe side, I also work as a sound designer and cultural producer."

Kimmo Modig, born in 1981, wears many hats. He earns his living as the director of Titanik gallery in Turku. As a performance artist, he deals with the structures of art world, e.g. how he ends up writing about himself in third tense for a possible art crowd in La Bas. Currently he's curating Sounds Like Work festival on art & labor for Kiasma contemporary art museum in Helsinki and sporadically doing solo performances and concerts.
