Dear list-subscribers,

As expected, but just for the record:

During their session on 7 July 1997, the EU Council of Ministers formally
adopted the Decision authorizing the signing, on behalf of the European
Community, of the WIPO Copyright Treaty and the WIPO Performance and
Phonograms Treaty.

In addition, the Treaties will also be signed by all Member States of the
European Union before 31 December 1997.
