Leena Krohn has written nearly thirty books, novels, short stories, fantasy stories for children, poems, essays and radio plays.
Krohn's collection of stories and essays, Matemaattisia olentoja tai jaettuja unia (Matematiska varelser, transl. into Swedish by Susanne Hellsten, Sahlgrens 1995), was awarded by the Finlandia Prize (1992).
