Dear list members,

A new CD-Rom providing interactive training on all aspects of the
European patent system has just been published. The CD-Rom is developed
jointly by the European Commission and the European Patent Office. It is
designed to be user friendly and requires no special skills or training
to use. It addresses the following topics:

* Patents in general
* European patent applications
* Criteria for the grant of a European patent
* European grant procedure
* Oppositions and appeals
* Infringements and licensing
* Patents as a source of information
