Today we received another list of WIPO meetings scheduled between May and
October 1997. Two events might be of general interest:

15,16,19 September, Geneva: Committee of Experts on a Possible Protocol
Concerning Audiovisual Performances (Protocol to the WIPO Performances and
Phonograms Treaty). The Comittee will consider the possible contents of
such a Protocol.
Invitations: Governments of the Member States of WIPO; the European
Community; certain other intergovernmental organizations; certain
non-governmental organizations.

17-19 September, Geneva: Information Meeting Concerning Intellectual
Property in Databases. The Information Meeting will consider questions
concerning intellectual property in databases.
Invitations: Governments of the Member States of WIPO; the European
Community; certain other intergovernmental organizations; certain
non-governmental organizatons.
