Dear list members,
Simon & Schuster of the US has opened, what they claim to be, the first
Publishing site on the Internet. The site offers a selection of free
features together with subscription reference services and the
opportunity to order books online. Where it breaks new ground is in
translating established literature promotion techniques into electronic
format, like live author events, reader reviews, online newsletters and
bulletin boards.
