Dear list members,
The European Commission has recently published a practical guide to
copyright for multimedia producers. The first part of the book describes
the main principles of author's rights and replies to questions such as:
what is a multi-media work? When is it protected? Who can own the rights?
The second part provides a panoramic view of authors' societies sector by
sector and describes how they work. This book is available in English and
French from your local office for Official Publications of the European
Communities.
