I refer interested readers to the 1994 European Indicators
REport table 2b.1 which itemises patterns of patents granted
in US by main trading blocks in 7 broad disciplines,
followed by a relative specialisation comparative analysis.
Table 2b.2 then does the same analysis for European patents
across the same sectors, as well as looking at innovation
intentisties in table 2b.3.
