Subject: Cost Statement 2 invoice available

Dear SG members,
The cost statement for the second reporting period i.e. 1/05/2001
to 31/10/2001 is now available on the CELIP website. When filling
out the forms please take care of the following points.
1. As agreed at the last SG meeting, please first fill out the form
and then email or fax it to us to be proof-read BEFORE you have it
signed. We will check it and let you know if it is ok. Once we have
agreed on the figures, then have it signed. Then fax us a copy and
send the original by post.
2. As before, do not send us your invoices and receipts, but do
keep them in case we need them later.
3. Please fill in all the fields. Make sure you fill in the sub-totals for
parts one and two (CELIP SG meetings and workshops), and then
the final total (which are the sub-totals from 1 & 2).
4. Exchange rates. Please use ONLY the official exchange rate
from the Commission website:
http://europa.eu.int/comm/budget/inforeuro/en/catalog.htm
Please note that you can only use the exchange rate from 1
November 2001, the day after the end of the reporting period. So,
you cannot do your conversions into Euro until the 1 November
2001 at the earliest.
5. Exchange rate calculation. Remember that this exchange rate is
1 Euro = currency e.g. Euro into US dollars. Because you are
converting from your currency INTO the Euro e.g. US dollar into
Euro, you must DIVIDE by the exchange rate. For example, 1
Euro = 0.9023 US dollars. So 573 USD divided by 0.9023 =
635.04 Euro.
6. This may sound obvious, but please check your calculations and
ensure that your figures have been added up correctly before
sending.
