Dear colleagues
Greetings from a sunny Spring day - we still have some snow here, but it
is smelting quickly. The sun is warming up and giving energy.
First, some requests:
- I still miss the workshop dates for Hungary, Latvia and Slovenia. As you
can see on the CELIP web-site, my whole autumn is unreserved, except 18-23
September (workshops in Tallinn and Warsaw). August is also impossible, my
IFLA trip will be a long one, and the only free weekend is reserved for
the wedding of a friend of mine
- I still miss the survey answers from Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Poland,
Romania and Slovakia! CELIP will end up in trouble, if the preliminary
report will not be ready quite soon... I have begun it based on the four
answers I have, but I really need answers from you all!
I now have names for two representatives of the right-owners to be invited
to our Prague meeting. Emilija has named Ms Vilma Misiukoniene, Director
of INFOBALT Copyright Agency
(http://www.infobalt.lt/agentura/english/index.htm). Sneja has invited
Mrs. Tzvetelina Kuntcheva, head of the Office in European Office of
Martinus Nijhoff. In addition, Jaro has promised to suggest a
representative from Slovakia. I also need now the names and addresses of
the Czech guests to be invited, because I'll send the invitations to the
meeting this week. Some representatives of international right-owner
organisations will be invited as well.
The "CELIP basic article" is now available on the web. It is on the CELIP
website, public part, under the title Background documents. You can
translate it for the workshop, or you can copy it in English to be
delivered in the workshop. The workshop transparencies are still under
way. ATTN! When you will speak with the translators, remember that there
will be a feed-back questionnaire, too. One page, much like the one which
was used in the CECUP workshops.
