PTK invites you to join the big PTK National Camp, which is organized every fourth year. It will take place at PTK´s campsite Partaharju, in central Finland – in a place that represents Finnish nature as its best and has a long tradition in Christian youth work.
The camp is prepared for boys and girls aged 10+ with their leaders. We expect around 2500 participants to attend the Heroes Camp –
mostly from Finland, but all friends within European Fellowship and Global Fellowship are invited as well!
Heroes!
The theme of the camp is heroes. – Who is a hero at this camp? Everyone!
We will concentrate on everyday heroism – searching and finding small things where we can make a difference, be the heroes of our own lives and do heroic favours to the others.
The camp will live in tents in six different villages. The programme will happen partly in small groups in the yards, partly together with the residents of your own village – but the highlights of the camp will certainly be when the whole camp of 2500 participants gather together at the big campfire place for celebration!
On the programme we will have a Forest Adventure celebrating the 70-year-old JiiPee magazine, lots of games and competitions, music in the villages, hobby, big camp fires and mission themes.
Devotional life is important – we will have prayers at the unique Ristikivi outdoor church and a Sunday service at the big campfire place. An important part of the camp is the food! The tasty meals are prepared by the camp cooks in each village.
Registration fee
The registration fee for these fascinating, adventurous camp days is 95 euros per person, if you send your preliminary registration the 19th February 2007 at the latest. The price is covering all expenses at the camp and includes also a camp T-shirt and a cap! Travelling expenses to and from Partaharju are not included.
After this date the price will rise up to 105 euros per person – and note that the T-shirts and caps can be delivered for free only for those who have made the preliminary registration before 19.2.2007!
The final registrations should enter PTK at 16th May 2007.
PTK will try to raise funds for those who have lack of resources to cover the camp fee and travel expenses.
