Each entry contains bibliographic information on one publication or other source, possible links and the comment by authors. Bibliographic description has been designed for WWW-browsers.
 
The main bibliography has been divided in following entities:
Most of the entries are in alphabetic order. National bibliography and discography have, however, been organized in rough chronologic order. Personal bibliographies and discographies are in alphabetic order by family names and/or group names.
 
Indices contain the following search possibilities:
There is a comment by the authors in each entry. These comments try to give help in the evaluation process of the sources. There are no general comparisons of sources, but if the information is clearly out-of-date, and there is more precise information available, this has been mentioned.
 
Most of the publications are in Finnish and some in Swedish. The few titles in English, German or French are quite easy to locate.
