Communist Workers` party in Finland has sent a protest against the decision made by the Czech government to suppress the Communist Youth Union (31.10.2006)
The decision of the Czech Republic to suppress the Communist Youth Union shows most clearly what kind of democracy the bourgeois democracy is. The decision of the Czech Republic at the same time also describes the essential nature of the European Union by letting its member country accept such decisions.
Were exists the freedom, democracy, civic and human rights which it confirms to defend. By suppressing the Communist Youth Union`s activities it shows quite seriously the blank meaning of the people´s freedom. The democracy of a bourgeois, capitalist society has a dictatorship meaning.
In reality on the territory of EU the right to express one´s opinion is limited. Also limited is the right to unionize and human rights has only those who give their unreserved support to the private owners of the means of production. It was informed that the program of the Communist Youth Union has included that private ownership of means of production should be replaced by social ownership and this was the reason to suppress the organization. The program also included the theory of Marx, Engels and Lenin and the socialist revolution as their aim which were not approved by the government.
The Communist Workers` Party expresses its strong protest against the decision made by the Chech government to suppress the Communist Youth Union. We demand that the government of the Czech republic immediately cancels the decision of suppress. We demand the government of Finland to condemn the decision of the Czech government to suppress the Communist Youth Union. The freedom of action must be re-established to the Czech Communist Youth Union.
