Israel supports the regional power of USA in the Middle East
The Communist workers' Party of Finland condemns the Israel attack in the area of Lebanon and Gaza, where Israel has arrested ministers of the Palestine government, deputies of the Parliament, leaders of the army and killed civilians. Israel has shown by using gangster methods that Israel is a faithful defender of the interests of USA in the Middle East. The Israel-attack on Lebanon has been fulfilled by the economical, military and political support of USA.
It's a question of power politics in this oil-rich area and also a question of who has the right to exploit the oil resources. To strengthen its position in the Middle East USA attacked Iraq spring year 2003 and has since occupied the country. Nevertheless the oil-rich countries in the Middle East continue to collaborate with USA though they should operate to build a united front against USA.
The attack on Lebanon had been prepared by accusing Syria for Lebanon's former prime-minister murder and demanding the Syrian forces to withdraw from Lebanon. Though Syria had both Lebanon's and UN's approval for the presence of its troops. All those states and their governments that have opposed the world-wide power politics of USA have been included into the "bad axis"-definition list. USA is trying to overthrow in these countries, like Syria and Iran, their present leadership and to replace them with their puppet governments. This kind of violent action is peculiar to imperialistic capitalism when wishing to bring under its control other independent states.
EU also has showed up its imperialistic character when under discussion is the Israel attack against Lebanon. The EU countries have not been able to take a stand for peace against war, even though Israel has killed already thousands of innocent people, has forced over one million inhabitants to exile from Lebanon and has largely destroyed the infrastructure in the country and has caused a large scale environmental damage. European Union states being loyal to capitalism and military power have not condemned the Israel attacks against Lebanon and have not insisted that Israel must withdraw its forces from Lebanon and other occupied territories.
Finland being a state member of the European Union has committed itself to fulfil the will of European Union's great powers to participate in dividing the oil resources in Middle East, which is being fulfilled by taking under control other independent states and nations. That is why even the Finnish government has not condemned the Israel attack on Lebanon and neither has demanded that Israel must immediately withdraw from Lebanon and also from Gaza and the West-Bank.
The Communist Workers' Party of Finland gives voice to the following claims in defending independent states and nations from imperialistic attacks.
- Israel must be forced to withdraw immediately from Lebanon and from the Palestine Gaza-regions and the West-Bank.
- Israel must withdraw behind the borders that existed before war in 1967.
- We need no multinational forces in South-Lebanon to protect the presence of the imperialistic USA and EU states.
- The Finnish government should take its stand for peace against war.
- Finland must withdraw from EU, which subordinates Finland to approve the military policy against independent states and nations.
- Israel must compensate the damages it has caused in Lebanon and Palestine area.
- UN must function according to the earlier taken decisions. Its functions are to defend the independency of its sovereign member states from aggressors.- UN must approve the foundation of an independent Israel state and an independent Palestine state. The birth of the Palestine state within just borders is also its responsibility.
