SOMEWHERE IN THE SKY: Radio Allied Voice, 1003 & 1270 kHz. June 1999.

Radio Allied Voice was a flying radio station which was used for NATO broadcasts to Serbia and Kosovo during the war of Yugoslavia in March-June 1999.
This station QSLed my report from Pennsylvania Air National Guard. The verie signer wrote that "Due to operational considerations, I am unable to provide specific orbit, altitude or transmission information."
In 2001 Commando Solo was again on the air in Afghanistan.
