The European Commission again invites interested parties to submit their
observations on the proposed concentration Wolters Kluwer/Reed Elsevier.
Observation should reach the Commission not later than 15 days following
the date of publication in the Official Journal, which was 17 January 1998.
In the Official Journal C 13 of 17 January 1998 the European Commission
officially announced that it has decided to initiate proceedings in the
above mentioned case after finding that the notified concentration raises
serious doubts as to its compatibility with the common market.
