Forum follow-up

The Final Document, approved by the Forum participants, can be read on our pages in English, Russian and Finnish. (The final version was drafted taking into consideration the comments received by the participants of the Forum, according to the decision of the final plenary session of the Forum.) After the Forum it has been submitted to several meetings of the Baltic Sea region decision makers.

- The Final Document was sent to the Council of the Baltic Sea States meeting of Foreign Ministers held on 10 - 11 June 2003 in Pori, Finland. Letter to Minister for Foreign Affairs, Chairman-in-Office of the CBSS Erkki Tuomioja.

- The NGO Forum representatives were asked to give words of greeting in the Baltic Sea Parliamentary Congress in Oulu, Finland on 7 - 8 September 2003. Mikko Lohikoski, Chairman of the Finnish NGO Organising Committee, participated in the Congress, gave words of greeting and presented the Final Document to the parliamentarians.

- The working group Sustainable lifestyles in the Baltic Sea region wrote a letter to the Conference of CBSS Environmental Ministers on 28 - 29 August in Luleå, Sweden.
