A chair stood there

A chair stood there so that I could sit
and wonder from where I came here:
a world a room a sheet of paper
like a circle, quartered.
I left, let the door go first, it gave way,
the blank wall, to my writing hand.
I saw the leaves of the trees
and the leaves of the trees were about to come out
in the park a girl whose leg danced sideways
blue in the eyes throughout the land
    Joy and Asymmetry.
The sky resounded
blue, in the eyes, throughout the land
a seagull on the back of a seagull and spring.
