Gaza! The name which associates itself to the country’s history and its great people. This is one of the richest corners of Mozambique, mainly in its history for almost two centuries. Not only the great Limpopo, but re-call also the Gaza Empire and by doing so "the Lion of Gaza" - or simple Ngungunyane the last monarch of the Ngunu dynasty. In XIX century this was the epicenter of culture, power and great people that expanded throughout the XX century; bringing more heroes that cultivate the path to independence of Mozambique - named Eduardo Mondlane and Samora Machel.

Bazaruto Archipelago

Bazaruto archipelago is one of the famous archipelagos in Mozambique, which is composed by the following six islands near the mainland town of Vilanculos:
Santa Carolina; Bazaruto (the largest island); Benguerra (2nd largest); Magaruque; Banque; Shell…
There are daily shuttles from Vilanculos city to the archipelago.
The coral reefs in the Bazaruto area are regarded as some of the most diverse and least disturbed in the Indian Ocean. The 3.22km Reef situated to the east of the park and between Bazaruto and Benguerra Island is particularly well known as a snorkelling and diving site internationally. The whole Bazaruto archipelago is protected; a part of a conservation park. All visitors to the park need to pay park entry fees which must be obtained from registered operators or the WWF office in Vilanculos.

Although not yet noticeable touristic destination, Nampula provides one of the historical monuments – the Mozambican Island. But that is not all the Nacala bay resort is also seating on the Nampula’s coastal zone. Nampula offers also an international gateway with its international airport and it is the 3rd large city in Mozambique.

This is relatively small Island that lies between the Mozambican channel and Mossuril bay in the Nampula province - a place that is rich of history and culture, due to which it has been declared Cultural and Historical World heritage site by UNESCO.

This is the northernmost province in Mozambique with its capital Pemba and yet another Mozambican paradise destination seating in the coastline of Indian Ocean, where even a 5 star hotel can be found in such remote province. Pemba is the gateway to the national park of the Querimbas Archipelago and to South Africa too.

Quirimbas Archipelago

This is the largest archipelago in Mozambique that lies in the Indian Ocean – north-eastern of Mozambique. It is located in the north province of Cabo Delgado and consists of about 27 islands that include the most famous:
Ibo; Quirimbas; Quilaluia; Quisiva;  Rolas Island
