"Doreen", originally recorded for the September 1981
Barking Pumpkin Records release "You Are What You Is",
is one of Frank Zappa's most heartfelt - and some
might even say accessible - songs. Its universal
subject of unbridled glandularly inspired pleading
for love lends itself to numerous - and equally
inspired - interpretations.
