The Conference "European Telematics: Advancing the Information Society",
will take place from 4-6 February 1998 in Barcelona.
This important event is structured as follows:
Wednesday 4 February 1998, Annual Concertation Meeting
Telematics Applications Programme RTD Project participants will meet to
present state of the art in Telematics developments and discuss
important issues in today's Telematics research.
Thursday 5 February 1998, "Telematics at your Service"
The achievements of the Telematics Application Programme over the last
10 years will be presented from the point of view of decision-makers and
key representatives from industry.
Friday 6 February 1998, "Paving the way forward in the Information
Society 5th Framework RTD Programme"
The views of researchers and experts on the expected developments in the
5th Framework RTD Programme will be presented.
The Conference will include an extensive exhibition of project results,
which will be open on 5 and 6 February to Conference participants, and
on 7 February to the general public.
