The wedge-shaped block faces the Hietalahti bay in the new Ruoholahti housing area. The views are open both southwards over the harbour to the sea, and westwards over the near-by park. The block has been divided into three buildings which are for the most part six storeys high, although the tower section has eight storeys. The buildings are linked by balcony towers made of glass blocks and steel. The concrete elements are either grooved and of blue-grey colour or completely smooth and white. The dominant blue-grey colour associates the buildings with the sea.

Some of the flats have their own sauna, while the other residents can use the saunas and the attached large roof terrace, situated in the attic. Specially designed flats are a communal flat for the disabled, a special family home, two artisan's flats, a group of flats for the elderly, and custom-designed flats for the disabled.
