[ Finnish Architecture 1992-1997 is the prime national exhibit for the
best recent architecture and building. This exhibition covers architecture
of the last five years, and is the ninth in succession, with the tradition
dating back to the fifties. The selection of the 66 projects was completed
by two foreign expert critics, Jan Søndergaard from Denmark and Elia Zenghelis
from Greece, with support from Finnish architects. Each project is shown
with drawings and photographs, and many with scale models. Also on display
is a multi-visual slide show. The exhibition is presented by the Finnish
Association of Architects and the Museum of architecture, and will tour
several cities in Finland during 1998. The exhibition publication is over
200 pages of B/W drawings and photographs, with both Finnish and English
text. ]
